Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness has implementeda policy requiring its editorial board to disclose any potentialcompeting interests in the amount of $5000 or more, includinghonoraria, employment, stock ownership or options, patents,patent applications, grants, royalties, consultancies, expertwitness activities, large gifts, or paid travel and accommodations.At the time this issue went to press, the following board membershad reported their competing interests during the last calendaryear (2007):
